A reversible wool scarf designed for layering, styling, and self-expression.
The color combos are inspired by the saris my mom grew up wearing, rich in contrast, vibrancy, and everyday elegance. In Indian tradition, dots are most closely associated with the bindi, the symbolic mark worn on the forehead representing the third eye or ajna chakra, a center of intuition and awareness. Dots are also integral to Kolam or Rangoli art, where geometric dotted patterns are drawn at entrances as a ritual gesture of welcome, protection, and prosperity.
In textiles, dotted motifs were widely used in ancient bandhani dyeing techniques, where tiny tied resist points created rhythmic, celestial-like patterns across fabric. Here, the polka dot becomes both playful and symbolic, rooted in ritual and craft.
Reversible by design, this scarf offers two distinct expressions in one piece. Soft yet structured, it provides a gentle layer of warmth that feels perfect as we transition into spring. Cozy without heaviness, breathable enough to wear indoors or out.
Style it as a neck scarf with a blazer, tie it as a headscarf on warmer days, wrap it around your bag handle for a pop of color, or wear it at the waist over a slip dress or tailored trousers. However you style it, Chakr is meant to move with you.
